UK Arctic Science Conference 2023
We are pleased to announce that the next UK Arctic Science Conference will be hosted by the British Antarctic Survey with support from the NERC Arctic Office in Cambridge, 11 – 13 September 2023.
Current call for action:
The call for sessions is now open and we invite proposals to be submitted via the below online form.
What to expect & timeline for next steps:
Our main priority is to set the schedule for the conference to enable the call for abstracts to come out. We are naturally also steadily working on the practicalities around the conference (registration, accommodation etc). Keep an eye out on this page for more information.
January 16th – Call for sessions closing
February 20th – Call for abstracts and conference registration to open
June 9th – Call for abstracts closing
August 25th – Conference registration closing
The conference venue & online participation:
The in-person event will be hosted at the BAS Aurora Innovation Centre in Cambridge. You can get familiar with the venue and its accessibility on our website. The conference will be hosted in a simple hybrid format over Zoom, and we will be looking for best practice to maximise online participation. If you have online or in person accessibility needs that could affect our planning, please get in touch with us at [email protected].
We look forward to welcoming you here in Cambridge!
