BAS and the IPY: An Interdisciplinary Vision
SciencePoles (www.sciencepoles.org) interviewed Professor Chris Rapley, Director of the UK’s British Antarctic Survey (BAS) – one of the world class research institutes for polar regions – on 27 October about BAS, its ‘Global Science in the Antarctic Context’ (GSAC) research programme, and its preparations and involvement for the coming International Polar Year 2007-2008. The interview took place at BAS in Cambridge.
