Archiving of NERC ARF Remotely Sensed Data

NERC ARF digital data sets acquired from 1984 onward are stored and accessible at the NERC Earth Observation Data Centre (NEODC). The NEODC is a NERC Designated Data Centre and, as such, is tasked with the acquisition, archiving and provision of access to remotely sensed data of the surface of the Earth acquired by satellite and airborne sensors.

The historical airborne data archive includes data previously collected by NERC using the Airborne Thematic Mapper (ATM), the Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager (CASI-2) instrument, Specim Eagle, Specim Hawk, Airborne Laser Terrain Mapper (ALTM) LiDAR data and Rollei digital photography. The data have a wide range of spatial resolutions and cover sites from the UK, the Mediterranean, Ethiopia, Greenland, Svalbard and Iceland. Please contact:
