Biography

Arera is the Innovation Community Officer in the Innovation team. Here she engages the innovation community by running events and a collaboration space at the Aurora Innovation Centre. She coordinates and runs the Innovation Champions engagement activities. These encourage innovation in the organisation through a mixture of focused project-based work and community building.

She also works with the Net Zero team to support Carbon Literacy training.

With a degree in Philosophy and Linguistics, she is very interested in concise and readable text. She sometimes uses this to write about the impact of polar research and the activities that support it.
