An international team of scientists from the US, Norway, Germany and Holland are currently on the British Antarctic Survey’s RRS James Clark Ross trying to understand more about the behaviour of the Arctic seas. The team departed Iceland in late July 2012 to embark on a 30-day expedition along the East Greenland Coast to the High-Arctic island of Spitsbergen.
