Saturdays and Sundays are our days off and as a result Saturday night is always something special. At the very least we have a sit down dinner but every so often we have a theme night.
We’ve got Ed and Jane to thank for this one. Jane (Doc) did a superb job sorting out all the cooking while Ed (Field Assistant) looked after the decorations and organised the fondue sets.
Guests dully arrived at the Chalet Bar in a wonderful mix of ski gear and alpine dress to be met by mulled wine, roast meat and cheese fondues. An excellent way to spent a very wild and wintry Rothera night.
