Safeguarding Antarctic krill stocks for baleen whales
This project aims to improve our understanding of how Antarctic krill, foraging whales and the krill fishery interact.

I am a biological oceanographer, with a particular interest Antarctic krill and fish that live in the ocean’s mesopelagic or ‘twilight’ zone. I use a combination of active acoustics, biological sampling, morphometric analysis and modelling to gain insight into Southern Ocean ecology and species distributions.
