Biological Data Assistant
I joined the PDC in Nov 2015 as Biological Data Assistant, working under Helen Peat. Part of my role involves the management of fisheries and environmental data for the Government of the South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands. Additionally, I provide support for the management of data collected as part of the Ecosystems and Biodiversity, Evolution and Adaptation science programmes. This includes data from the penguin weighbridge on Bird Island, data from Antarctic microclimate loggers, records of beach debris and the predator tracking database. I also support Helen in the management of the BAS Herbarium.
