James joined the British Antarctic Survey in 2020. As an engineer with a specific focus on Ice Core Drilling, he develops and operates scientific research and support equipment and provides engineering support to the ice core team in Cambridge.
James has previously developed products and technologies used in pharmaceutical R&D, and has worked in the automation sector developing bespoke testing and manufacturing machinery.
