My current research involves using the MITgcm model to simulate the ocean beneath the Ronne-Filchner Ice Shelf. I am investigating the controls on sub-ice shelf ocean circulation and the impact on ice shelf melt rates.
I am also interested in ice-ocean interaction in Greenland, glacial meltwater plumes and iceberg dynamics and melt.
