Renewables milestone reached in Antarctica

Since joining the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) in 2012, Pete has delivered construction and engineering projects across antarctica having begun his BAS career at Halley where he was a member of the 2015 winter team.
In 2016 Pete was part of the Halley relocation team as Halley Facilities Engineer and was a key member of the planning and delivery team.
In 2021 Pete became the BAS Estates Asset and Data Manager, responsible for information management and developing the BAS BIM strategy and for developing the Digital Estates strategy enabling the data driven estate.
In May 2022, Pete took over the Polar Estates Dept. as Interim Head of Polar Facilities before becoming Head of Polar Estates.
