Louis is a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in the Polar Oceans team. He leads the “Modelling Ice-shelf Melting and Oceanic Processes” (MIMOP) ERC-funded project.

Before joining BAS, Louis was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut de Recherche sur les Phénomènes Hors Équilibre (IRPHE), Marseille, France.

He holds an engineering degree from the École Polytechnique, France, and a MSc degree and a PhD in Ocean Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, USA.
