James has worked for BAS since 2007 as a Field Guide, Station Leader and Traverse leader for the NERC iSTAR tractor traverse. He has carried out field seasons, in the Arctic, South Georgia and throughout continental Antarctica.
In James’s current role as Field Operations Manager he is responsible for co-ordinating delivering the field season in Antarctica and assisting in planning the forthcoming season in the UK.
