‘Climategate’ broke in 2009 soon after Heather joined BAS, which she has followed closely. She has a keen interest in how this affected science communication and the subsequent need for careful messaging when communicating issues relating to climate change.
Heather is also interested in digital communications including social media and can provide guidance on how to use these communication tools effectively.
