Tide gauge
There is a well located at the wharf containing two tide gauges. One is based on a pressure sensor, the second uses a wave guided radar. These tide gauges make up part of a global network.
Rosey has worked for BAS for since 2011 when she overwintered at Rothera research station as meteorologist. She has since returned to Rothera every Antarctic summer as support meteorologist and physical sciences co-ordinator. Rosey is part of the meteorology and ozone monitoring team (MOM) at BAS, which is responsible for its operational meteorology program.
