How Antarctic winds shaped CO₂
SIWHA investigates how westerly winds and sea ice have influenced CO2 uptake and release in the Southern Ocean.
I am a postdoctoral researcher working on the ice core group at the British Antarctic Survey. My research focuses on using ice core records to reconstruct past environmental changes in polar and sub-polar regions. My approach combines traditional ice chemistry with the novel analysis of insoluble microparticles trapped in the ice to understand the evolution of climate.
