David Seaton
Senior Infrastructure Programme Manager
Biography
I am a chartered civil engineer and environmentalist with over 30 years experience in the construction industry working for contractor, consultant and client organisations. I have worked on a wide variety of infrastructure projects in the UK including water, wastewater, marine, transportation and renewable energy projects.
My work over the past 15-20 years has been mainly focused on project and design management and sustainability. I am a Chartered Project Professional with the Association for Project Management and I sit on the Advisory Board for the Westminster Sustainability Business Forum.
My role in BAS is to manage the delivery of the Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation Programme, which includes new wharves at Rothera and KEP and station re-building works at Rothera, Signy and Bird Island.
