Port Lockroy is the site of the first permanent British Antarctic base, ‘Base A’.
I am responsible for managing the biological data sets held by the UK Polar Data Centre. This includes managing a wide range of long-term data sets, including penguin, seal, albatross, fish and microclimate data. I also manage the British Antarctic Survey herbarium (AAS), and the associated Antarctic Plant Database.
