Biography

As a Scientific Data Officer within the Polar Data Centre, the focus of my role is on promoting open data and best data practice within polar science. Key responsibilities include: liaison with PIs to assist with various stages of the data management lifecycle; management of the South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands fisheries and environmental data, through processing fisheries catch, observer and tag data; and helping to manage the BAS Herbarium and its associated Antarctic Plant Database.
