Antarctica Live! – Online lesson for schools

Join us on Tuesday 10 November at 2pm for Antarctica Live! A free Happy by Nature live lesson on one of the most extreme environments on Earth. With our hosts, TV presenter and journalist Julia Bradbury and CBeebies presenter Gemma Hunt! From WWF, British Antarctic Survey and Dynamic Earth.

Get ready to transport your pupils to one of the most extreme environments! Together, we’ll explore the icy Antarctic climate, investigate how animals survive in freezing conditions, discover why tiny krill are vital to entire ecosystems, and link up live with British Antarctic Survey’s scientists and teams working in Antarctica right now!

The 40 minute lesson is designed for (ages 7-11) Key Stage 2/Second Level students, but open for learners of all stages.

The WWF team will send the joining link before the event, so all you need to do is gather your class and get ready for an unforgettable learning experience.
