Toward Strengthened Forecasting Services for Polar Regions [Meeting Report]

PCAPS Open Session: Forecast value cycles for Polar Research Operations: A workshop was held as part of the annual Steering Group meeting of the WMO World Weather Research Program project “Polar Coupled Analysis and Prediction for Services” (PCAPS). The Open Session gathered about 50 Arctic and Antarctic stakeholders to share perspectives on polar forecasting challenges, operational needs, and opportunities for collaboration.
