Terrestrial arthropods and low temperature
Read more of: Terrestrial arthropods and low temperatureCold environments impose several ecological and physiological constraints upon arthropods, including reduction of metabolic rate, locomotory activity, and feeding. These result in slow growth rates and extended life cycles. Additionally, […]

Low temperature effects on micro-arthropods
Read more of: Low temperature effects on micro-arthropodsThe main features of the cold hardiness strategies adopted by Antarctic terrestrial arthropods (principally Acari and Collembola) are reviewed. These include lethal low temperatures, chill-coma temperature, supercooling ability, cryoprotectants and […]

Rb-Sr whole-rock isochron evidence for the age of the Malvern Hills complex
Read more of: Rb-Sr whole-rock isochron evidence for the age of the Malvern Hills complexThe Malvernian igneous complex of the Malvern Hills consists mainlyof plutonic rocks and their locally deformed equivalents. The igneous rocks are calc-alkaline and range from ultra mafic diorite to granite […]
