General enquiries
+44 (0) 1223 221400: Monday to Friday 8.30 to 16.30 (UK time).
Contacting someone in Antarctica
Ask your relative or friend for their BAS email address. They can also use their personal email address. It can be difficult to receive attachments to emails and difficult to reply to emails received because of restricted bandwidth in stations and onboard RRS SDA.
Read the current itinerary of the RRS SDA. Itineraries are always subject to change and cannot be guaranteed.
For any enquiries regarding sending mail to Antarctica please contact BAS Supply Chain Logistics.
Mail for staff on Stations and onboard RRS Sir David Attenborough
Mail should be sent to BAS Cambridge for forwarding on to the ship. Due to the uncertainty of the SDA’s passage, we cannot guarantee a time when the post will be delivered.
