Julien Bodart
Geophysics Data Assistant
Biography
I am a Geophysics Data Assistant at the UK Polar Data Centre. My role consist in helping improve the accessibility of aero-geophysics data acquired by BAS over Antarctica. This involves close collaboration with data managers, geophysists, and web developers. I am also currently doing a PhD at the University of Edinburgh where I use airborne and ground radars to investigate the internal structure of West Antarctica.
Collaborations
I work in close collaboration with the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics (UTIG) and the British Antarctic Survey as part of my PhD. I am also involved in the SCAR AntArchitecture initiative and the International Thwaites Glacier Collaboration GHOST project.
