The new Aurora Innovation Centre at the British Antarctic Survey headquarters in Cambridge offers state-of-the-art conference and meeting facilities and exhibition spaces.  A key collaboration focus for Aurora is the application of polar expertise to other areas of policy, business, academia and the third sector.

The Aurora Conference Theatre, meeting rooms and collaboration spaces can be booked by external organisations who share our passion for the environment.

The Aurora Innovation Centre aims to bring together a community of people from different backgrounds who share our passion for the environment and technologies for challenging contexts. In order to stimulate networking and out-of-the-box thinking, Aurora offers a number of spaces that are available for hire:

  • 150-seat Conference Theatre with flexible layout styles
  • two 40-seat Seminar Rooms
  • four 10-seat Meeting Rooms
  • 8 hot-desks
  • catering facilities and access to the BAS canteen

Across site there is free access to BAS and Eduroam WiFi, and in the Conference Theatre and Seminar Rooms infrared assisted hearing.

Transport

A few minutes walk from Madingley Road P&R with 4 electric vehicle bays, very easy access from the M11, and a bus service from the Cambridge train
