Polar Data into Art

With events from astronomy to zoology, the 2017 Cambridge Science Festival (13 – 26 March) welcomes everyone to explore and discuss science.
Join British Antarctic Survey for an exhibition and series of talks to discover how art can unlock patterns and create beauty from polar research data with a series of talks by artists and polar scientists. Come along to enjoy “Data as Art”, which highlights the innate beauty of data visualised. Artists have worked with polar scientists to interpret and present their data in stunning and creative ways, in areas as diverse as space weather, marine acoustics and climate science.
Visitors will also have a chance to see the brand new Innovation Centre – Aurora Cambridge.
