Welcome to our Operation Tabarin 75th anniversary page!

Each weekday from 4th Feb – 15th Feb (2019) we will be adding a new page of archive-based content around a theme to do with Operation Tabarin.

Illustrated with content from the BAS Archives – photos, film, reports, journals and personal diaries – these themed pages reveal more about this important expedition. They provide a uniquely detailed account of the expedition and the nature of Antarctic scientific research at this time, created by those involved.
